VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK TRANSIT-ORIENTED-DEVELOPMENT ZONING STUDY

The Mamaroneck TOD Zoning Study represents a broad based effort, sponsored by the Village in partnership with the Washingtonville Housing Alliance to promote equitable, sustainable development near the Mamaroneck Train Station.

WHA worked with the Village of Mamaroneck to provide Transit Oriented Development within half mile of the Railroad Station. The Village comprehensive plan calls for incentivizing affordable housing, providing quality public space, and linking the villages retail and central business districts. The study will include heavy community involvement.The Village of Mamaroneck is taking bold steps to promote smart growth through revitalization of its downtown area surrounding the train station.
