Annual Dinner a Resounding Success

On Wednesday October 8, friends and supporters gathered at Bonnie Briar County Club to celebrate the work of the Washingtonville Housing Alliance, and to pay homage to this year's honorees, Keith Yizar and Detective Bob Reynolds, who exemplified the event's theme- Building Brighter Futures. While Washingtonville's mission focuses on affordable housing, we all know that it 'takes a village' and these two men have done so much to build community and instill hope in young people throughout their distinguished careers. Village of Mamaroneck Mayor Norm Rosenblum and Town of Mamaroneck Supervisor Nancy Seligson agreed - 'We can't think of two more deserving honorees.'

Mr. Yizar and Det. Reynolds both shared inspiring words about their service to young people. Richard Nightingale, Washingtonville Chair and President of Westhab, and Bob Galvin, Washingtonville 1st Vice Chair, shared updates about the organization and the plans to expand the scope of our housing and services activities in Washingtonville.
